Pilots
Using zine making to encourage self-expression, connection and belonging in schools.
Working with children at risk of non-attendance and with additional needs, these creative workshops will help build connections between children and schools, providing evidence on the wellbeing benefits of creative interventions for children in need of additional support.
Providing artists with the skills they need to design inclusive, accessible workshops for young people.
A series of in-depth training sessions for artists who are already experts in their craft to better understand how to design or adapt creative sessions to suit the broad and varied needs of students and schools.
Our most ambitious pilot project to date, bringing highly skills artists into schools for an entire school year.
We are working with an initial set of schools to develop artist-in-residence programmes that bring artists on site, delivering a year-long series of workshops across a range of disciplines from visual and interdisciplinary practice to film and performance. This programme will particularly focus on engaging with students most at risk of non-attendance.
